Nintendo has finally unveiled their next console, WiiU. This is an entirely new hi-def console with a tablet controller that allows streaming game content. The major announcements:
- The next Nintendo console is called the Wii U and will be out in 2012
- No official specs or price given yet
- The Wii U has a tablet controller that can stream data to and from the console
- There were tons of third-party games announced for the Wii U including “Ninja Gaiden 3,” “Batman: Arkham City” and “Assassin’s Creed”
- New Smash Bros. coming to both 3DS and Wii U and will have interaction between the two
- Backwards compatible with Wii games and accessories
- Online capabilities not mentioned
